Tasty Grass Farm is a family owned business on a 410 acre paradise in Marshall, Virginia. We sell grass-fed and antibiotic-hormone free Black Angus beef. Our cattle live healthy and happy lives eating fresh grasses and drinking pure and clean well water that flows directly to their strategically placed troughs. Our cows never walk more than 600 feet to their water.
Tasty Grass Farm participates in sustainable environmental protection practices. We have extensive Riparian buffer zones around all of our streams & ponds to keep our cattle from contributing to pollution in the Chesapeake Bay Watershed. In addition, we also engage in rotational grazing methods to protect the root base and growth of native flora, discourage over grazing, and prevent takeover of invasive plant species. For our efforts we won an award from the John Marshall Soil and Water Conservation District in 2012.
